Karzai met with the new American special envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan

Almaty.1 of August. Silkroadnews - Hamid Karzai met with the newly appointed American special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Daniel Feldman, said Afghan News Agency (AfTAG).
As informed the press service of the presidential palace, Karzai was informed by Daniel Feldman regarding the audit of voting and conversion in the presidential election, and events associated with it.
President Karzai said the Afghan people is committed to ensuring that the electoral process was completed as soon as possible so that Afghanistan would have its new president and elected government, which shall carry out the development of the country in the best way.
Recall Daniel Feldman succeeds James F. Dobbins, an experienced diplomat who served as the special envoy of the United States in Afghanistan and Pakistan, and resigned last month.
