Kazakh Minister of Foreign Affairs and US Assistant Secretary of State discussed results of Hague meeting

Astana. April 1. Silkroadnews – The results of Nazarbayev’s meeting with Obama in Hague were discussed by the Kazakh Minister of Foreign Affairs Erlan idrisov and US Assistant Secretary of State, Nisha Desai Biswal, as the MFA’s press office reports.
“The current state and future prospects for economic and political cooperation between Kazakhstan and the US were also discussed. The parties have also touched upon the progress made by the Kazakhstan-United States Strategic partnership dialogue that is co-chaired by the Foreign Affairs Minister Idrisov and his US counterpart John Kerry”, the MFA’s message states.
The parties exchanged opinions on current state of international affairs and regional security issues. This included the situation in Ukraine.
US Assistant Secretary of State is to continue its visit to Kazakhstan in Almaty on the 2nd of April.
