Kazakh Parliament passes the law on emergency prevention cooperation with Russia

Astana. April 3. Silkroadnews – Kazakh parliament has passed the law on cooperation t prevent emergency situations with Russia.
The law regulates cooperation to prevent industrial accidents, catastrophes and hazards as well as liquidation of its consequences. It also introduces simplified border control rules and procedures for rescue units.
“With the purpose of quicker response in mind, members of the rescue units and cross national borders wherever it is easier and quicker for them to reach emergency epicentres, as opposed to crossing the border at the specified checkpoints”, the Minister of Emergency Situations, Vladimir Bozhko said, when presenting the law to MPs.
