Kazakh scientists intend to use the mare's milk to create the "elixir of youth"

"Mare's milk is still not appreciated about its beneficial properties. It includes many rare chemical elements, it is rich in vitamins, minerals and enzymes. As a result, long-term studies of the Kazakh Academy of Nutrition on the basis of mare's milk and koumiss scientifically proven and approved for use as therapeutic and prophylactic products aimed at the effective fight against pulmonary tuberculosis, iron deficiency anemia, diseases of the cardiovascular system and cancer diseases",- said T .Sharmanov at Kazakh state-run media in an interview on Thursday.
According to him, due to the fact that the mare's milk is easily absorbed by the body, it can be used in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and liver by means of the antiviral and antibacterial effects, it is advisable to use it to protect against infectious diseases, to enhance immunity.
T.Sharmanov recalled that currently Kazakhstan performs project in which at the territory between Karaganda and Astana in area of ​​45 km2 will be built a plant to produce dry mare's milk. In the project will be milked about 300 mares.
According to the head of the academy, a large amount of research conducted in the framework of the project is dedicated to the creation of mare's milk as breast milk and products for school-age children. During the project implementation will be released about 10 titles of useful products that improve the cardiovascular system, increase immunity, opposing tuberculosis, oncological diseases, as well as effective tools for use in complex therapy of diseases of the nervous system.
