Kazakh Space Satellite KazSat-3 launched from Baikonur

Baikonur. April 28. Silkroadnews – “Proton-M” rocket with KazSat-3 Kazakh Communications Satellite was launched from Baikonur’s #81 launching pad, as KazTAG informs.
““Proton-M” rocket was launched with Kazakh Communication Satellite Kaz-Sat-3 and Russian Space Device “Luch-5V” from Baikonur”, the message states.
“Proton-M” launched two other communication satellites in 2006 and 2011 respectively.
“KazSat-3” is produced by the leading Russian space enterprise “ISS Reshetnev Company”. It was ordered by the Kazakhstan Republican Centre of Space Communications. The satellite will be used for TV broadcasting, fixed communications, internet and data transmission in Kazakhstan and other neighbouring territories.
The satellite is to remain fully functional for over 15 years.
