Almaty. December 2. Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan and Iran will cooperate in the exploration of polymetallic, copper and iron.
According to the Ministry for Investment and Development of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan and Iran will jointly select promising investment projects in the two countries. Kazakh geologists at the beginning of 2016 are planning to travel to Iran to work with the geological information. This decision was taken at a meeting of representatives of the Ministry of Industry of Republic of Kazakhstan and the Organization of development and modernization of mines and mining of Islamic Republic of Iran.
In Tehran, to develop a road map for the development of cooperation in the mining industry and geology arrived a chairman of JSC "Kazgeologiya" Galim Nurzhanov.
The Iranian side expressed its readiness to invest in the exploration of polymetallic, copper and iron, as well as expressed interest in applicable by "Kazgeologiya" new air- and ground-based geophysical technologies (VTEM, ZTEM, AMT + MT). Iran is ready to consider the issue of attracting Kazakhstani specialists to geophysical studies in Iran.
