Kazakhstan does not have enough qualified pilots, say in the profile department

Almaty. September 23. Silkroadnews - Among the 1.7 thousand pilots operating in Kazakhstan, 300 are foreign pilots. This was stated by Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee (CAC) of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the RK Beken Seidakhmetov, KazTAG reports.
"The real question is about the lack of skilled pilots that meet international standards. For example, Among 1,700 pilots operating in Kazakhstan, 300 - foreign pilots. Among 1,200 engineers, 220 - foreign engineers",- said B. Seidakhmetov at a briefing in Astana on Wednesday.
He recalled that the training for the civil aviation industry is engaged in the Civil Aviation Academy and College under it.
To improve the quality of training in 2012 was approved an inter-ministerial action plan to improve the quality of training at the Academy of Civil Aviation. The implementation of the plan at the Academy created the flight and technical center corresponding to European standards, completely revised training program, trained instructors, updated literature, bought exercise equipment for aircraft such as the Boeing 737 and Airbus A320.
