Kazakhstan expects to gain access to the international database of counterfeit by the end of 2015

Astana. July 17. Silkroadnews - Access to an international database on counterfeit (fake drug product) is possible by the end of 2015, reports KazTAG.
"Access to an international database on counterfeits is possible by our test center, which we are now preparing for accreditation, in the end of 2015", - said the Minister of Health Salidat Kairbekova at a briefing after the government session on Thursday.
"This test center should enter the European network of official laboratories for drug quality control of the European Pharmacopoeia (OMCL)», - she added.
The Minister informed that under the state program "Salamatty Kazakstan" were purchased two mobile laboratories to detect counterfeits.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan in the last 10 years there had been more than 90 facts of falsified implementation on 40 items of medical products of famous brands.
