Kazakhstan exports 72 tonnes of blended tops (wool) to Italy

Astana. March 19. Silkroadnews – Kazakhstan exports 72 tonnes of blended tops (a thin wool material used in production of final wool products), as the Press Office of the JSC “National Managing Holding KazAgro”, reports. Italian Vicotex SRL signed a contact with “KazAgro” for USD 598 000.
“Kazakh company aspires to sign other contracts for further 140 tonnes of blended tops. The company does not rule out the escalation of blended tops to 500 tonnes within a year”, the document states.
“Blended tops that is produced in Kazakhstan will be used by some of the top European Retailers, sch as Benetton, Zara, Gruppo Marzotto, H&M, fratelli Piacenza SPA, Lanerossi, Marchi e Fildi SPA”, the data-sheet continues.
Blended tops is produced in Zhambyl Province. The Italian party is responsible for the production oversight to ensure the adherence to international standards of production.
