Astana. November 20. Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan has ratified an agreement with China on the waterworks "Dostyk", informs the press service of the President of Kazakhstan.
As noted earlier, the joint integrated waterwork is the common property of the parties owning equal shares, and includes: a regulated inlet and outlet channel; dam with discharge and washings with holes; curved channels with input and output gateways; Head locks main channels; dispatch centers, automation instrumentation, electrical and control; access road to the perfect waterworks 200 meters long in the territory of each party.
Under the agreement, the management and operation of the joint combined waterworks includes: ensuring operational reliability and safety of the combined joint waterworks; compliance with established regulatory principles volumes of water and environmental flows; provision of flood.
In order to ensure safe operation of the joint combined waterworks created Kazakh-Chinese service operated on a permanent basis and consisting of staff responsible organizations on the principle of parity.
The Parties undertake to ensure the maintenance of a proper state of engineering equipment and structures, as well as to avoid any action that prevents the safety and normal operation of the joint combined Waterworks on its part.
