Kazakhstan increased import of cars from Russia by 16.3% in January-July
Astana. September 23. Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan imported from Russia 58.7 thousand cars in the amount of $663.7 million in January-July 2014, which is 16.3% more in quantity compared to the same period last year, and 42.7% more in amount, reported Eurasian Economic Commission.
As noted in the published data, Kazakhstan also imported 1.3 thousand cars from Belarus (2.6 times more than in the same period last year) for $13.9 million (5.4 times more than previous year).
However, Kazakhstan did not export any of the car to Russia or Belarus.
Earlier, the former Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Kazakhstan, have repeatedly mentined the possibility of export of Kazakhstan cars to Russia, as well as to increase output of production in 2019 to 200 thousand cars.
