Almaty. April 10. Silkroadnews – Kazakhstan is interested to see Afghanistan to develop in a sustainable way, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Akylbek Kamaldinov said, KazTAG reports.

“For us the sustainable and stable development of Afghanistan is a priority within the context of threats abatement.
With this it should not go unmentioned how important for us is Afghanistan’s participation in international events carried in Kazakhstan, including the SCO summit, OIC summit, and EXPO-2017”, A. Kamaldinov noted in the course of political consultations between two states’ foreign ministries in Astana on Monday.

Meanwhile, Deputy Foreign Minister of Afghanistan Hekmat Khalil Karzai emphasized, the situation in his country should be viewed from two perspectives: ensuring stability for the state and its neighbors, that is, directly Kazakhstan, as well as restoring the infrastructure and peaceful life in Afghanistan.

“In this regard, I’d like to thank for the educational program being implemented since 2009 and allowing nearly one thousand of Afghan students to get higher and secondary technical education in Kazakhstan, as well as for humanitarian assistance and construction of socially important infrastructure facilities funded by Kazakhstan”, the Afghan diplomat said.
