Kazakhstan is interested in the direct supply of agricultural products from Tajikistan

Almaty. February11. Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan is interested in direct deliveries of Tajik agricultural products, the Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) reported on Thursday.
“Kazakhstan is interested in producers and consumers of our countries working with each other directly, without intermediaries, focusing on the organization of direct deliveries of Tajik agricultural products, including grapes, pomegranates, apricots, lemons, dried fruits, to Kazakhstan, as well as Kazakhstani products to Tajikistan,” - said Deputy Chairman, Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, Alihan Kanapiya at the meeting with the Chairperson of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sharif Said in Dushanbe.
The participants noted successful development of countries’ cooperation in the trade and economic and scientific and technical areas.
The Kazakhstani side proposed to organize a visit by the trade and economic missions of the Kazakhstani business communities interested to the capital of Tajikistan, to carry out a bilateral business forum in Dushanbe and the first meeting of the Business Council “Tajikistan-Kazakhstan” within its framework.
According to the final economic indicators of 2015 Kazakhstan was one of the major partners of Tajikistan (after Russia and China) with $702 million of the foreign trade turnover between the two countries.
