Kazakhstan looks into possibility to produce methane at Karaganda coal basin

Almaty. May 27. Silkroadnews – Kazakhstan is looking into possibility of methane production at Karaganda coal basin, as KazTransGas informs.
“JSC “KazTransGas” and LeMar CA Inc group signed an agreement to create a joint enterprise. The enterprise is to manage investment project for exploration and development of methane at Karaganda coal basin”, the message states.
The project takes place within the framework of Presidential task of exploration, development and production of methane at coal deposits of Kazakhstan.
