Astana. September 7. Silkroadnews – In the near future Kazakhstan and Macau are going to sign an agreement on mutual elimination of visa requirements, press service of the Kazakhstani Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
«Within the framework of the Kazakhstani President Nursultan Nazarbayev's participation in the G-20 summit, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Yerlan Idrissov held a meeting with the leaders of the Special Administrative Region (SAR) Macau of China. During the meeting the sides exchanged diplomatic notes confirming their intentions to sign an intergovernmental agreement on mutual elimination of visa requirements in the near future», the statement released on Tuesday said.
It is also noted that the two sides discussed prospects of expansion of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Macau SAR in the economic, investments, cultural, humanitarian and tourism fields.
