Kazakhstan national operator is in talks to supply 200 passenger cars to Iran

Astana. December 21. Silkroadnews - JSC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" (KTZ) is in talks to supply 200 passenger wagons to Iran, KazTAG reports.
"We exported products of our factories. You know, our locomotives are in demand in the countries of Central Asia. The enormous export potential, which we intend to realize", - said the President of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy Askar Mamin at a briefing in Astana on Monday.
"If we talk of electric locomotives, we have a contract for 40 units to Azerbaijan. A huge market opened today in Iran. We went there to test our squad "Talgo" who worked there a month and received the good reviews. We are now at the stage of negotiations on export of 200 passenger locomotives on the Iranian market", - he added.
