Kazakhstan offered Afghanistan to train military specialists at the centers of Kazakhstan’s armed forces

Almaty. July 20. Silkroadnews – Kazakhstan offered Afghanistan to train military specialists in the centers of the armed forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, information portal “Afghanistan.ru”.
“Afghanistan’s National Security Advisor Mohammad Hanif Atmar met with Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan Saken Zhasuzakov in Astana. (...) The talks agenda included specific cooperation projects, in particular, the Kazakhstani side offered Kabul to organize programs to train Afghan military personnel – armored vehicles drivers, artillerists and aviation specialists on the basis of military centers of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, report says.
“Mohammad Hanif Atmar also met with Minister of Defense and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov. During the meeting they discussed possibilities of Kazakhstan’s participation in equipping and training specialists for the Afghan aviation forces”, publication notes.
Reportedly, the main topic of the meeting was cooperation in the field of security.
“During the talks, the sides discussed issues of development of cooperation in field of security and joint participation in the fight against terrorism and extremism, both at the bilateral level and within the regional and international organizations’ framework. Areas of possible interaction also covered data exchange between two states’ military subdivisions”, report reads.
