Kazakhstan picks spots for Nuclear Power Station construction

Astana. April 17.Silkroadnews – Kazakhstan plans to build a nuclear power station. It has already picked some possible spots for its construction, as “KazAtomProm” Chairman Vladimir Shkolnik informs.
One of the spots is next to Lake Balkash, because lacks energy supply the most. The other one is in Kurchatov. It would utilise territories of the Semipalatinsk Test Site, which has been closed for testing since 1980s.
It is possible that that nuclear power stations will appear in both places, as Mister Shkolnik says.
