Kazakhstan plans the exploration of the well at the "Satpayev" in 2015

Almaty. April 15th. Silkroad News - «According to our information, in 2015, the company "Satpayev Operating" LLC plans to drill the first exploration well on the structure of the "Satpayev" ", - quoted Trend the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan.
The section "Satpayev" is located in the northern part of the shelf to the north of the Caspian Sea and includes three promising structures "Satpayev", "Satpayev East" and "Karina".
The estimated recoverable resources of the section "Satpayev" is 253 million tonnes of oil. Block "Satpayev" is developed by JSC NC "KazMunaiGas" and Indian national oil company ONGC Videsh Limited with a share of 25% (with the option to increase). For the section is signed the subsoil use contract.
