Kazakhstan plans to attract 10 transnational companies to the processing sector.
Almaty. January 6. Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan plans to attract to its processing sector at least 10 transnational corporations. This intention was announced by Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan, in his article “The plan of the nation - the way to the Kazakhstani dream”.
“Measures provided within the economic bloc of the Plan of the nation include attraction of at least10 transnational corporations to the processing sector of our economy. Work on building the joint ventures with “anchor investors” will cover three groups of domestic companies in manufacturing, infrastructure, energy industry and others”, the head of state notes in the article published on Akorda website on Wednesday.
The first group, as the president explained, shall include the companies subject to extensive modernization through reinvestments; the second - enterprises, for which the potential TNCs shall be attracted; the third one will include the companies of the high market competition for the “anchor investors” and raising of the export brands.
As the President wrote in his article, the negotiations have been carried out with more than 26 transnational corporations and the specific agreements are already made with a number of them.
