Kazakhstan President called on the parties of Ukrainian conflict to meet at the negotiating table
Almaty. August 6. Silkroadnews - Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev urged the conflicting parties in Ukraine to the negotiating table and stop the bloodshed, transmits KazTAG.
"I will say a few words about the situation in the region. I am referring to the conflict in Ukraine, which is one of the most important partners of Kazakhstan. The economy of Ukraine is the verge of disaster. We sincerely urge all parties of the conflict to the negotiating table to find solutions based on trust, open dialogue and to stop the bloodshed, especially about women and children. I think there is no other reasonable alternative",- N. Nazarbayev said at the enlarged meeting of the government on Wednesday.
"With Ukrainian people we have economic and human strands of commercial contracts, human destinies. The situation seriously concerns Kazakhs, we empathize with the tragedy of people, which now suffers in Ukraine",- he continued.
The President noted that Ukraine is a part of a free trade zone in the CIS. According to official forecasts of the Ukrainian government, the decline in GDP will be "no less than 6%".
"Inflation will rise by 20%, the national currency may depreciate. We are worried about it all, and we can not ignore their political and economic crisis", - said Nursultan Nazarbayev.
As explained Nazarbayev, he is connected to the problem and is doing everything possible.
