Kazakhstan ranks 28th in terms of energy intensity of GDP in the world

Almaty. April 7. Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan ranks 28th in terms of energy intensity of GDP in the world, the press service of the Kazakhstani prime minister reports.

“The minister (minister for investment and development of Kazakhstan Asset Issekeshev - Silkroadnews) noted that our country’s economy is characterized by high energy intensity of GDP, thus, making Kazakhstan to rank 28th in the world, exceeding the energy intensity of such countries as the USA and Canada by twofold,” said the statement published on the website of the prime minister of Kazakhstan on Thursday.
