Kazakhstan ranks the 23rd place out of 65 on the number of people wanted by Interpol, KazTAG writes

Almaty. January 8. Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan ranks the 23rd place out of 65 on the number of people wanted by Interpol, KazTAG reports.
According to the official website of the International Criminal Police Organization, among the former USSR countries Belarus, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan are leading in the number of citizens wanted for the various crimes with 160 citizens per country. These countries rank the first place in the list.
Georgia ranks the 5th place (135 citizens), Uzbekistan is on 11th  (with 96 citizens). Kazakhstan ranks the 23rd place with the list of 63 people wanted, with one citizen wanted by requests of two countries: Russia and Kazakhstan.
Moldova is on the 28th place (54 citizens), Armenia ranks the 33rd place (43) followed by Lithuania ranking the 45th place (22), Estonia - the 56th (10), Latvia and Turkmenistan ranking the 59th place (7).
There are 43 countries whose citizens are not registered as wanted by Interpol.
As a total the wanted list records 8 507 people wanted.
At the same time, in terms of the number of tracing requests submitted to Interpol Kazakhstan ranks the 24th place out of 52 (with 51 requests). The first place is once again shared by Belarus, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan with 160 requests per country. Georgia ranks the 9th place (88 requests), Uzbekistan – 31st (30), Lithuania – 33rd (22), Moldova - 34th  (21), Armenia and Estonia both ranks the 43rd place (10), Latvia – 47th (6), Turkmenistan – 53rd (0).
Besides Turkmenistan there are 61 countries that did not submit any tracing requests.  
As a total the list includes 6 870 people.
The difference between the number of wanted citizens and number of tracing requests can be explained by the fact that some citizens are recorded as wanted by more than one country, in addition, a number of wanted people has a dual or even triple citizenship.
Total 190 countries are the members of Interpol.
