Kazakhstan ratified agreement with Uzbekistan on the readmission of people

Astana. March 12. Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan ratified agreement with Uzbekistan on the readmission of persons. The relevant law signed by President Nursultan Nazarbayev on March 6 is published in the official press.
As previously reported, the implementation of the agreement and executive protocol will contribute to the improvement of cooperation between the contracting parties in combating illegal migration and will identify effective procedures for the identification, safe and orderly return of persons who do not or no longer fulfill the conditions for entry, stay or residence on territory of the contracting parties.
It is indicated that the lists of documents, on the basis of which is determined the presence of a person of one of the parties, is contained in the executive protocol. Parties within 30 days from the date of entry into force of the executive protocol, exchange through diplomatic channels specimens of such documents. Subsequently, each party shall promptly notify the other party through diplomatic channels of any changes in the samples of these documents.
In addition, the competent authorities of the requested Party shall  rececive, at the request of the competent authority, nationals and stateless peopple, who arrived or are in the territory of the requesting party in violation of the domestic law of that State, or if it is established that they had come to its territory directly from the territory of the requested Party.
