Kazakhstan rejects attempts to politicise religions - Nazarbayev

Astana. April 18. Silkroadnews – Kazakhstan rejects foreign attempts to politicise religions, President Nazarbayev stated at the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan that is currently taking place in Astana.
“We also absolutely reject extremism… attempts to politicise religion under the premise of religion and imposition of religious views and ideas that are alien for us”, Nazarbayev said.
The XXI session of the Assembly is chaired by the President. MPs, party leaders, representatives of cultural centres, representatives of NGOs, representatives of foreign diplomatic missions, prominent scientific creative elites as well as regional members of the assembly all take part in this session.
