Almaty. November 23. Silkroadnews – Kazakhstani authorities has begun to reveal cases of bulk sales of the products with unconfirmed or so-called “gray” certificates from Russia and Belarus, KazTAG reports.

“There is a negative trend observed: (...) we have begun to reveal cases when bulk sales of products with Russian certificates and certificates of Belarus are carried out. (...) It turns out, that within the framework of the Customs Union our partner countries, their unconscientious certification bodies issue the unconfirmed certificates, we call them “gray” certificates”, chairman of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Investment and Development Birzhan Kaneshev said.

The point in case is about certificates that have not been verified by the relevant tests and researches.

“The fact is our certificates issued verify the compliance with requirements of technical regulations of the Customs Union and other applicable regulations. In case there is no specific technical regulation, the products are being tested and examined at some accredited laboratories with such tests or examinations to be then recorded with a due test protocol. Indeed, it takes some time. For example, the test of construction materials will take a month, if we discuss some simple brick, etc.”, Galymzhan Dougal, deputy chairman of the committee mentioned, has noted.

With this, though, the “gray” certificates can “be issues” even by the “Russian certification body, for the Kazakhstani products in our territory”.

In this regard in the framework of the EEU Kazakhstan comes out with a proposal to ban such advertisements for intermediary consulting companies.
