Kazakhstan’s national carrier to train pilots and check aircraft in Uzbekistan
Almaty. October 19. Silkroadnews – Kazakhstan’s national carrier “Air Astana” JSC plans to train pilots and carry out aircraft repair works at the bases of Uzbekistan’s National Air Company “Havo Yullari” in Uzbekistan, the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) reports.
The issues, in particular, was discussed during the meeting of the two companies’ top managers at Uzbekistan’s company.
During the talks the parties discussed development of passenger transportation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan to boost the tourist potential of two states, aspects of cooperation on maintenance and repair of “Air Astana” JSC aircrafts on the basis of “Uzbekistan airways technics” company and training of Kazakhstani pilots at the NAC Training Complex.
The parties also agreed to increase number of regular flights to/from Tashkent-Almaty, Tashkent-Astana and opening of new directions from the cities of Kazakhstan to the historical cities of Uzbekistan - Urgench, Bukhara, Samarkand.
