Kazakhstan's Prime Minister and President of China in Beijing discussed issues of bilateral cooperation

Almaty. March 27. Silkroadnews - Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov, during a working visit to China met with Chinese President Xi Jinping, KazTAG reports.
Xi Jinping proposed to effectively implement a Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of a joint economic zone of the Silk Road, to promote cooperation on major projects, deepen cooperation in production capacity and to advance the financial cooperation. At the same time, he mentioned that, it is necessary to harmonize this initiative with the new economic policy of Kazakhstan "Nurly Jol" to "connect to each other and stimulate each other".
In turn, K. Massimov confirmed Kazakhstan's intention to strengthen cooperation with China through such platforms as the Asian Bank for Ifrastructure Investment, Fund for Economic Cooperation "China-Eurasia" and Fund of the Silk Road.
In addition, according to Premier, Kazakhstan is interested in the creation of the Institute of Chinese culture and establishment of more active cultural exchange of Kazakhstan and other countries in the region with China.
During the meeting, Xi Jinping noted that China is ready to work with Kazakhstan to make efforts for further improvement and development of the SCO and the CICA. In turn, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan commended the Chinese support the SCO and the CICA and announced its readiness to intensify bilateral coordination within them.
Recall, Masimov arrived in China to attend the Boao Forum for Asia 2015.
