Kazakhstan should take measures to support domestic manufacturers, Minister of Economy

Astana. February 6. Silkroadnews - Minister for Economy and Financial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Timur Suleimenov said that Kazakhstan should take measures for state support of domestic producers, reports KazTAG.
"We need to ensure measures of state support: grants, other support measures that implements holding "Baiterek", "Damu" and so on. To ensure the priority of procurements of "Samruk-Kazyna" which is about 4.5 trillion tenge annually", - said T. Suleimenov to the reporters after the meeting of the Ministry of Justice on Friday.
T. Suleimenov noted that in addition to quasi-public sector procurements we have public procurements.
He also stressed that the negotiations concerning the prohibition of imports of certain goods from Russia are conducted on a bilateral basis between the ministries of the two countries.
The Minister expressed his understanding of the complexity of the situation for Kazakh producers and willingness to work out the mechanisms and tools to solve this problem.
