Kazakhstan temporarily bans exported alcohol products from June 1

Astana. May 12. Silkroadnews –Kazakhstan temporarily bans exported alcohol products fr om June 1, 2014, as Kazakh Governmental Agency on Consumer Rights informs.
“The temporary ban to export alcohol products to the territory of Kazakhstan comes into force from the 1st of June 2014”, as the message distributed this Monday states.
This measure comes into force as it has become known that alcohol products from Italy, France, Scotland, Russia, Belarus and other countries have been traded with violations of national legislation as well as of Customs Union’s technical requirements.
Some of the most common violations are a failure to inform the consumer on the age lim it or to report importer’s address. The failure to provide (or provide comprehensive) information in Kazakh language is also among the common violations.
