Kazakhstan to send tents, drinking water and meds to Serbia

Astana. May 22. Silkroadnews – “As Serbia has officially requested help after a catastrophic flood in the country, Kazakhstan is send humanitarian aid to the citizens of the Republic of Serbia. This includes tents, drinking water and medical products”, as Kazakhstan’s MFA informs.
Serbia’s government has previously requested Kazakhstan to provide some humanitarian aid, as the country was flooded.
The floods are associated with heavy rains in the region. Over 23 000 people in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia have been evacuated. Thousands of residential buildings are damaged. There is a significant negative impact country’s agriculture.
