Almaty. June 16. Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan will consider increasing fees for Kyrgyz irrigation water next year, reports KyrTAG.
"Chu-Talas Commission Department proposed Kazakhstan to increase equity participation in the repair and reconstruction of irrigation facilities from 65 mln to 110 mln tenge. The letter was sent. Kazakh side informed that the budget and list of cover objects are approved. The state will try to lay money next year,"- said the director of the Department of Water Resources and Irrigation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation of KR Kokumbek Tashtanaliev on Monday.
He noted that each year for the work above, Kazakh side allocates materials for 65 million tenge.
