Kazakhstan will increase grain exports to China and Southeast Asia

Almaty. September 21. Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan is working to increase the volume of grain exports to China, as well as the transit of grain through its territory to the countries of Southeast Asia, Iran, and through Iran - to the Gulf countries, reports Trend.
Today, the traditional importers of Kazakhstan grain are the countries of Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan), as well as Afghanistan, Azerbaijan and Iran.
The ministry noted that the grain harvest in Kazakhstan is forecasted at 17.3 million tons in gross weight.
In 2014, Kazakhstan had collected 17,162 million tons of grain and leguminous crops, which is 5.9% less than in 2013.
