Kazakhstani citizens to get money reward for information on terrorist attacks

Almaty. November 17. Silkroadnews – Starting from 2017 reward for information on the terrorist attacks prepared will make up to one thousand MCI in Kazakhstan.

According to the resolution by the Kazakhstani government, persons who provided information that has helped to prevent or stop an act of terrorism, are to be paid a single payment remuneration by the due authorized body.

“... on criminal cases on acts of terrorism, under Parts 1 and 2 of art.255 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 3, 2014 (hereinafter – CC) – 750 minimum calculation indices (hereinafter – MCI); on criminal cases on acts of terrorism, under Parts 3 and 4 of art. 255 of the Criminal Code – 1000 (one thousand) MCI”, the resolution states.

It is also explained thereby, the remuneration is to be paid in case the judgement of conviction or the court judgement on compulsory measures of medical character have taken effect against the offender; along with the ruling on the criminal proceedings termination.

The payment remuneration is to be paid out of the public funds allocated for the public authorities in charge of coordination of activities in the field of counter-terrorism.

The resolution comes into force as of January 1, 2017, and is a subject to official publication.
