Almaty. September 6. Silkroadnews – Kazakhstani goods amount to 50% share within the EEU total imports to Kyrgyzstan, the first secretary of the Kazakhstani Embassy in Kyrgyzstan Nurlan Yeshkeyev said, KyrTAG writes.

«For 6 months of 2016 the share of imports of the EEU member countries in total imports to Kyrgyzstan amounted to more than 44%. Indeed, 50.6% of them are the products from Kazakhstan. Thus, we can look ahead with confidence and say the Kazakhstani goods are very popular and competitive in Kyrgyzstan. According to our embassy, this is mainly due to our primarily logistics and properly weighted monetary policy of our government contributed to boost the export», N. Yeshkeyev said at the business forum on Tuesday.

He added, according to 2015 results the trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan amounted to more than $650 million.

«Despite some decrease observed in volumes, there is also a positive dynamics seen. The negative trend as a whole is observed throughout the globe at present», the first secretary of the Kazakhstani Embassy said.
