Kazakhstani iron ore deliveries to Russia and China will increase to 6.7 million tonnes in 2016

Almaty. June 21. Silkroadnews – Kazakhstani iron ore deliveries to Russia and China will increase from 6.4 million tonnes to 6.7 million tonnes this year, Kuandyk Bishimbayev, Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, said, KazTAG reports.

“The measures will be taken to increase the iron ore supplies of “SSGPO” JSC to China and Russia, including the temporary reduction coefficient use on services of the backbone railway network, which will allow increasing the supply of iron ore from 6.4 million tonnes to 6.7 million tonnes in 2016,” K. Bishimbayev said on Tuesday.

“In general, to boost the manufacturing industry growth the measures will be taken to provide a temporary reduction coefficient on services of the backbone railway network and electricity, operating capital on favorable terms, lease financing and export/pre-export credit and foreign trade regulation,” he added.
