Kazakhstani sailors’ diplomas will be recognized by other states

Almaty. March 31. Silkroadnews - Kazakhstani sailors’ professional diplomas will be recognized by other states, press service of the ministry of investment and development (MID) of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported.

“Kazakhstan has applied to be included into the “white list” of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), including the normative-legal acts, curricula and other necessary documentation. For this purpose, the national legal framework has already been formed as part of implementation of the provisions of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers,” the MID site reported on Thursday.

Being included into the IMO “White List” will ensure recognition of the Kazakhstani seafarers’ professional diplomas by the other states.
