Khamenei calls on Iranian government agencies to support government in face of U.S. sanctions
Beijing. Jul 16. Silkroadnews - The supreme leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei called on all the country’s state structures to support the economic policy of the government of the country in the face of U.S. sanctions, the Iranian Telegraph Agency (IrTAG) reports.
“I strongly believe that if the government takes the necessary measures, it will be able to overcome problems and defeat the U.S. conspiracy,” the agency quoted him saying.
Iran’s spiritual leader also called for strengthening of the private sector and “decisive actions” against economic crimes, such as money laundering and smuggling of goods.
To remind, in early May the U.S. President Donald Trump declared the withdrawal of Washington the nuclear deal with Tehran. He also stated, the U.S. are ready to conclude a new deal instead of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), yet, at the same time, set forth further demands that knew could not be met by Iran.
