Korean experts told about the implementation of "smart farm" and electronic commerce in agriculture in Uzbekistan

Almaty. June 17. Silkroadnews - Tashkent hosted a conference on the development of Uzbek-Korean cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT), transmits UzTAG.
"Representatives of the Korean side with presentations on strategies for implementing ICT in all spheres of the Korean economy, introduced the "smart farm"and e-commerce in agriculture, and others," - says the publication on Tuesday.
It is noted that during the conference were signed memorandums of cooperation between the center of scientific, technical and marketing research «Unicon.uz» and Research Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications of the Republic of Korea, as well as between the Uzbek center of information security and the Korean Agency for internet and security.
Also signed memorandums of understanding between the Tashkent University of Information Technologies, center «Uzinfocom» and the National Agency for Information Society of the Republic of Korea (NAI), Tashkent University of Information Technology, Seoul National University (SNU) and the Korea's leading institute of science and technology, Tashkent Medical Academy and Korean Institute of Oriental Medicine (KYUM).
The Forum is organized in the framework of the visit of President of the Republic of Korea Pak Kin Ho to Uzbekistan.
The conference was attended by over 140 representatives of Korean companies and organizations.
