Kyrgyz citizens can stay in Indonesia for 30 days without a visa

Almaty. April 7. Silkroadnews - The Indonesian government has adopted a law allowing citizens of Kyrgyzstan to stay in its territory without a visa for 30 days, KyrTAG reports.

According to the note received from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, the Indonesian government’s decision dated March 10, 2016, brought into force a law on the introduction of visa-free regime allowing the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic (owners of ordinary passports) to stay in the territory of Indonesia for 30 days without a visa.

“Visa-free regime does not apply to representative of mass-media entering the country for the professional objectives. Also, according to this law, a visa-free regime is not allowed to be extended or converted to any other type of visa,” - the statement said.

With that, the entry for the citizens of Kyrgyzstan into the territory of Indonesia will be carried out only via the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Jakarta, Indonesia.
