Almaty. June 23. Silkroadnews – To export their products to other Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) member states Kyrgyzstan’s producers obtain 70% of certificates of compliance to the standards of the Customs Union (CU) in Kazakhstan, KyrTAG writes.

“Our exporters obtain in Kazakhstan 70% of the CU standards compliance certificates. For example, there is a company producing footwear in Naryn, we have a large range of products, when exporting goods to the EEU market each range needs separate certificates and documents. A part of the documents necessary is obtained from our commercial and industrial chamber. But the required certificate is obtained in Kazakhstan, as we do not have an agency authorized to issue such kind of certificates,” said Gulzat Abdrasulova, head of “Naryn” FEZ, on Wednesday.

According to her, such a situation creates inconvenience and problems for the Kyrgyz producers.
“Besides, when investors come to us, they ask what is the process of the goods sale within the Customs Union countries. It makes them hesitating whether they should invest into production in Kyrgyzstan when we tell about such nuances existing,” the head of “Naryn” FEZ added.
