Kyrgyz film "Kurmanjan Datca" won the Audience Award at the Film Festival in China

Almaty. October 28. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyz historical film "Kurmanjan Datca" won the Audience Award at the Film Festival in China, informed KyrTAG the spokeswoman of the studio "Aytysh movie" Cholpon Idrisova on Tuesday.
According to her, the Audience Award is the main and most prestigious film award. Kyrgyz film has shown a special interest on the part of the jury and participants, the tape has won good reviews of spectators.
"The creators were given a great honor, director Sadik Sher-Niyaz, producer Farhad Bekmanbetov and actress Nazira Mambetova walked through the main red carpet along with three-time Oscar winner, American film director Oliver Stone" - said Ch.Idrisova.
Ch.Idrisova noted that the International Film Festival aims at expanding the boundaries of cinematic art and the establishment of contacts between filmmakers of West Asia and Europe. According to organizers, the event will be an annual event.
