"The Tax Code of the Kyrgyz Republic proposed to add electricity to the list of imported goods exempt from VAT. According to the Ministry of Finance, for the successful passage of the autumn-winter period it is supposed to purchase electricity in Kazakhstan in the amount of 1 billion kWh at a price of 9.73 cents per 1 kWh including customs clearance. The estimated need for funding is about $100 million, excluding the customs clearance - $ 85 million. We propose to remove the 12% VAT for the public and to leave to the tax for entrepreneurs", - said the deputy minister.
Deputies asked how much will decrease electricity for the population. A. Kasymaliev expected 0,59 soms.But this figure will be less if accurately calculated.
