Kyrgyzstan and Iran plan to cancel visa regime
Almaty. December 23. Silkroadnews – Kyrgyzstan and Iran plan cancelling visa regime between the countries, Kyrgyzstan’s President Almazbek Atambayev and President of Iran Hassan Rouhani stated at the meeting held in the state residence “Ala-Archa” on Friday.
“Kyrgyzstan and Iran have been held together by cultural and historical relations. Next March we will celebrate the 25th anniversary of bilateral relations. Easing visa procedures will boost a direct flight introduction”, KyrTAG quotes A. Atambayev saying.
In his turn H. Rouhani added, it is necessary to cancel mutual visa requirements in the future.
“This is especially true for two states’ businessmen; it will contribute to closer cooperation between the two countries. Within a month the states’ foreign ministries have to prepare documents on easing visa requirements, at the end we shall achieve a visa-free regime”, H. Rouhani noted.
