Kyrgyzstan and Italy signed agreement on exemption of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic passports

Almaty. March 30. Silkroadnews - Agreement between the government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the government of the Republic of Italy on mutual exemption of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic passports has been signed in the ministry of foreign affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, KyrTAG reports.

The agreement was signed by the minister of foreign affairs of Kyrgyzstan Erlan Abdyldaev and the ambassador of the Italian Republic in the Kyrgyz Republic Stefano Ravanyan.

The intergovernmental agreement, as noted, is caused by the need of further developing the friendly, good-neighborly relations, strengthening the economic, trade, scientific-technical, cultural and humanitarian, consular relations, boosting the mutual trips of citizens of both countries - holders of diplomatic passports on the territory of the two states.

In particular, the agreement provisions stipulate for exemption of the holders of diplomatic passports of the requirements for visa for entry, exit, transit and staying on the territory of other state for a period of 90 days (within one or more periods) for 180 days from the date of the first entry.

It is noted that the agreement will enter into force as soon as the parties involved fulfill the respective internal procedures as necessary.
