Kyrgyzstan and Turkey have agreed to cooperate in the penitentiary system

Almaty. August 19. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyzstan and Turkey agreed on the development of bilateral cooperation in the prison system, according to KyrTAG with reference to the press service of the State Service of Corrections under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
"The State Penitentiary Service of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the General Directorate for punishment under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Turkey have agreed to develop bilateral cooperation", - reported the press service of the department.
An agreement was reached on the official visit in the framework of cooperation with the OSCE Centre in Bishkek of senior representatives of law enforcement agencies (SPS, the Interior Ministry, the National Security Committee) of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Turkey, where the receiving side confirmed its readiness to expand mutually beneficial contacts both departments in the educational and research fields.
In addition, the partners intend to cooperate in the following areas: the creation of groups of experts to study the prison systems in both countries; possibility of training for appropriate personnel in educational centers in Turkey; full support in the construction of specialized agencies.
It is also possible to provide technical and advisory assistance in studying law in the penal system, as well as related issues on institutional reform.
