Almaty. July 15. Silkroadnews – Kyrgyzstan announced a tender for scientific study of ancient petroglyphs in the state nature park “Saimaluu Tash”, KyrTAG informs.

“Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Culture announced a tender for primary documentation of the cultural landscape and historical and architectural plan of petroglyphs study in the state nature park “Saimaluu Tash” in Toguz-Toro District of Jalal-Abad region,” the statement said with reference to the public procurement site.

It is noted that the tender is carried out in simplified method. The amount in case is 1.3 million som. Performance time – August-December. The participation is allowed for the scientific and design organizations with archaeologist having a special permit. Tender application submission deadline is July 20.

“Saimaluu Tashili” or “Saimaly Tash” is located to the south of Kazarman, there is a wide variety of petroglyphs discovered here.

The National Park Saimaluu Tash was founded in 2001 in Toguz-Torouz eastern district of Jalal-Abad region, along the river. The park area is 32 hectares. The objects of protection are the unique natural complexes of Kugart mountain area and numerous petroglyphs having a great cultural and historical value and are dated from around the year three thousand B.C. to the fifth century AD.
