Kyrgyzstan asks Kazakhstan to transfer for use transit road of 800 m

Almaty. July 20. Silkroadnews - The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Temir Sariev at a meeting with Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov on Sunday raised the issue of the transfer of 800m of Kazakh transit road for the use of the Kyrgyz Republic, said KyrTAG.
"We propose to adopt a separate agreement for the use of the site boundary. Especially, taking into account the sooner entrance into a common economic union. If this agreement is signed, we take responsibility to keep procuring for this part of the road", - said T. Sariev.
As noted, we are talking about the road Bishkek-Naryn-Torugart near the town of Tokmok, which passes in transit through the territory of Kazakhstan.
Also, Kyrgyz Prime Minister raised the issue concerning the construction of the bypass channel on the river Chu.
According to the press service of the Kyrgyz government, in the course of the talks the sides discussed issues of further procedures of Kyrgyzstan's entry into the Eurasian Economic Union. Temir Sariev said that on Monday to Kazakhstan flies a large delegation headed by the Minister of Economy Oleg Pankratov to agree the final details on joining of EAEC.
