Kyrgyzstan has applied to the European Commission for preferential treatment on exports of goods to EU countries

Almaty. October 29. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyzstan has applied to the European Commission for preferential treatment on exports of goods to the EU duty-free. This was announced by Head of the Trade Policy of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic Taalaibek Bektashev, transmits KyrTAG.
"We have applied to the European Commission to get preference for the World System of Preferences of the European Union. If we receive a positive decision from the European Commission then about 7 thousand goods will be exported to the EU duty-free", - said T.Bektashev.
According to him, the list of goods includes agricultural products, especially vegetables and fruits, canned food, in particular, pistachios, dried apricots, textile and clothing industry, cotton, hides and leather.
He noted that this work is carried out under the "export development program for 2015-2017", which was approved in March of this year.
