Kyrgyzstan has introduced a fee for refusal to serve in the army for religious reasons

Almaty. August 10. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev signed a law "On Amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On universal military duty of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, on military and alternative service", reports KyrTAG.
The law adopted was by Jogorku Kenesh on June 29, 2015.
The law provides that citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, which are members of a registered religious organization, whose doctrine does not allow the use of arms and service in the armed forces, are required to make monetary contributions for the special accounts of the authorized state body in charge of social values, determined by the Government of KR.
The law enters the force from the date of publication.
